I have visited SCUTTLEBUTT BREWING CO.,
in Everett, Snohomish County, Washington, USA.

Location Map

  • Follow this link for a map of all the breweries and brewpubs I have visited.

Reason for Visit: This was part of a great Pacific Northwest trip that included visits to 21 microbreweries or brewpubs along the way. We stopped at Scuttlebutt on a day of driving that included Bellingham, WA to Vancouver, BC to Everett, WA.

[Scuttlebutt Brewing Co. Coaster] Front of Coaster. The front of the Scuttlebutt Brewing Co. coaster features a red ink design on a white square configuration. The brewpub logo appears in a horizontally oriented oval on the top third of the coaster. It includes the slogans "Family Pub & Brewery" and Share the Scuttlebutt with a friend!" A small line of text along the bottom provides their website URL. The entire design is enclosed by a white border band.
[Scuttlebutt Brewing Co. - Back] Back of Coaster.

"Scut * tle * but (Skùt'l-but') n. 1. nautical. A drinking fountain on a sailing ship. 2. Slang. Idle, often sensational and groundless talk about others such as might be passed at a scuttlebutt. The name given to a micro-brewery on Everett's waterfront by its owner to placate his wife regarding their financial security being forsaken to invest in a harebrained brewery at a time in their lives when things should be a little less hectic."
