NOTES PROVIDED IN THE ERLENKOTTER FAMILY RECORDS:

"On 16 December 1815 Stephen ACKLEY of Farmington, Ontario County, NY and his wife Nancy sold to Elisha GARDNER of Farmington for $85 one undivided tenth part of about 52 acres in lot 89 and about 38 acres in the southeast part of lot 104 in Farmington, Ontario County, NY, their share by heirship from Nathan WESCOAT, deceased. On 20 July 1822 Stephen ACKLEY and his wife Nancy appeared, and the deed was affirmed and recorded [Ontario County Deed Records, Book 59, p. 279]."
