I have visited Uncle Tucker's Brewhouse,
in Cumberland, Allegany Co., Maryland, USA.

Brewery/Brewpub Location Map

Reason for Visit: Uncle Tucker's Brewhouse sat on a hill right along Interstate 68 just east of Cumberland, MD. In the tragic and chaotic days immediately following 9-11 when the airports were still shut down, I was forced to drive halfway across the United States to get home. During that long journey I stopped at Uncle Tucker's.

Uncle Tucker's Brewhouse Pint Glass Glassware:That must be the eponymous Uncle Tucker standing on the beer barrel? The barrel reads "Tuckers's Beer, est. 1999" and under the name of the brewery it says "Hand Crafted Micro Brew, Cumberland, Maryland."
Uncle Tucker's Brewhouse Growler Glassware: The Uncle Tucker's Brewhouse growler has the same logo.
Uncle Tucker's Brewhouse Growler - Back Glassware: The back of the growler reads, "1810 Brew House. The original structure was built by Jacob Hoblitzell around 1810 and was located across from the old toll gate house on the Cumberland Road. The Civil War battle of Folck's Mill was fought on this site on August 1, 1864 which led to the building being used as a field hospital. And now, Tucker's Beer is proudly brewed here in this historic location and is a local, family owned operation. Tucker's Beer is the first and only beer brewed in the beautiful mountains of Allegany County since the mid-1970's."
