Brewery/Brewpub Location Map

Reason for Visit: We were visiting Bend, Oregon for eight nights and decided to visit every brewery and brewpub in town, eventually accomplishing every stop on the legendary Bend Ale Trail, with a quick jaunt up to Sisters to catch the bonus brewery.

Three Creeks Brewing Exterior Exterior: It was a bit out of the way to drive up to Sisters to capture the bonus brewery on the Bend Ale Trail, but duty called. Sisters was a touristy town reminiscent of a Wild West theme, complete with wooden sidewalks and such. Three Creeks Brewing was located on the southeast outskirts of town on the road leading up from Bend. The brewpub reflected a similar theme, designed in the fashion of a rustic wilderness lodge although the road leading to it hummed with traffic.
Three Creeks Brewing Truck Truck: We knew we found the right place when we pulled into the parking lot and spotted this truck decorated in Three Rivers signs and the individual logos of their signature beers. It wouldn't be hard to guess what was inside the truck if you passed it rolling down the highway.
Three Creeks Brewing Restaurant Interior: I was completely sober when I took this photo; it's more of a commentary on my lousy photography techniques than anything else. You can sort-of make out the interior of Three Creeks and the brewing equipment on the other side of the windows on the far side of the room.
Three Creeks Brewing Sampler Sampler: As always, we had a sampler so we could try a wide variety of beer styles. This one, again, was rather special because it marked the completion of the entire set of breweries plus the bonus location for the Bend Ale Trail. Now we could return to Bend and collect our rewards.
Three Creeks Brewing Coaster General Coaster: This is the standard Three Creeks Brewing coaster; nothing fancy. It's printed red on a cream-colored background, and simply features the brewery's name topped a mountainous backdrop. Given the location, it would make sense if those were the nearby Three Sisters mountains (North Sister, Middle Sister and South Sister). I don't know that for a fact, however it seems to make the most logical sense.
Hoodoo Voodoo IPA Coaster IPA Coaster: The coaster for Hoodoo Voodoo IPA is probably paying homage to the nearby Hoodoo ski resort on Hoodoo Butte. The mountain in the image has a classic cinder cone shape, as does Hoodoo Butte, and it clearly has a ski run extending from summit to base. Plus, the guy standing in front of the mountain is wearing clothing from an earlier time, perhaps a half-century ago or more, and he holds skis in one hand and an axe in the other. Could this represent Ed Thurston who built the resort in the 1930's?
