Reason for Visit: Family lived nearby in a suburb of New Orleans. From there it was easy to journey to Crescent City in New Orleans' famous French Quarter.
Brewhouse Sign: This sign announces the entrance to the Crescent City Brewhouse on Decatur Street in the French Quarter of New Orleans. As the sign notes, the brewpub features an oyster bar as well as live music. It is suspended below a typical French Quarter balcony.
Brewhouse Interior: This view of the Crescent City Brewhouse is made from the front entrance looking towards the bar. Copper kettles can be seen through the glass wall behind the bar, towards the right, central part of the photograph.
Brewhouse Bar: This is the same bar area viewed from the opposite angle, looking out towards Decatur Street. Notice the exposed beam ceiling on the first floor as well as the opening that allows a view of the second floor. Whimsical multi-colored jellyfish dangle from the ceiling above the bar.
Front of Coaster: The Crescent City Brewhouse coaster features a circular design. A frosty mug of beer appears in the foreground. An off-center circular shield shifted towards the top contains the name of the brewpub, radiating lines around the top of the mug, and two barley stalks along each side.
Glassware: The same design appears on the glass mug, printed in black.
