"On January 14, 1865, he was married to Helen J. DICKERSON at Almont, and their married life of nearly 53 years has been spent in Lapeer and Tuscola Counties, with the exception of three years in Kansas and Illinois, about 1872 to 1875. To them were born six children, of whom three are living; George P., of Pontiac; Mrs. Maude HARBIN, of Port Hope; and Frank C., of Saginaw. Of the other three, Leslie died in Kansas in 1873; Jessie near Imlay City in 1879; and Lena in Mayville in 1888" [e.d., Lena A. Waller is buried in the family plot; Lot 520, Fremont Township Cemetery, Tuscola County, Michigan; b. 20 Mar 1882, d. 22 Jun 1888].
