It has been established that John H. Dickerson is the uncle of Chilon F. Dickerson, and both moved from Niagara Co., NY to Lapeer Co., MI. In spite of the uncle/nephew relationship they were only 4 years apart in age, and to further complicate the relationship they both married daughters of Christian Howder (Margaret and Susan respectively). This source notes that Noadiah Dickerson "had thirteen [children]. Complete list not found," and lists four sons other than John. Therefore Chilon's father (? Dickerson) could be one of those four sons or another son entirely.
