I have visited Grumpy Troll Brew Pub,
in Mt. Horeb, Dane County, Wisconsin, USA.

Reason for Visit: Mt. Horeb is in the vicinity of Madison, Wisconsin, and we have family in the area. The town of Mt. Horeb has this whole troll theme going for it which explains part of the name of the brewpub. I don't know why the troll is grumpy, though.

Front of Coaster. The Grumpy Troll Brew Pub coaster is multiple colors in a standard square turned on its edge to form a diamond pattern. An oval dominates the central design containing a rather grumpy-looking troll overlooking a horizontal scroll containing the name of the brewpub. Below is an image of a burger and a mug of beer. The left and right sides of the image are flanked by stalks of barley. Identifying and descriptive information forms a border. Mt. Horeb is claimed to be the "Troll Capital of the World," which is a happy fact noted on the coaster. |
