Reason for Visit: I used to travel to Chicago, IL frequently on business. In addition to being one of the greatest cities in the world and one of my personal favorites to visit, Chicago is a wonderful beer town. Goose Island, when I visited, was an independent brewery and brewpub. It is now owned by AB InBev.

Glassware: The Goose Island Beer Company pint glass features an oval full-color logo printed on clear glass. The central image is the head of a goose pointing upwards on a blue background, as if in the process of honking. A small blue band comes next outward, with the slogan, "Craft Brewed & Bottle Conditioned." The name and location of the brewery appears on the outer band and continues on a red horizontal banner across the bottom portion of the logo. |
