Children in the household are Ernest G. (age 12) and Hattie E. (age 9). Mary A. HANSCOM is also listed as a resident, as William's sister. She's probably actually his step-sister.

- Notes on the letter indicate that it had recently (circa 1910) been in the possession of William H. TRUE, "youngest son of Eliza SYLVESTER (Widow HANSCOM) later wife of Jonathan TRUE; and a sister of Caleb, William, Charles, etc., children of Charles and Lucy BARKER SYLVESTER."
