In 1860 and 1870, he [Edward] was living with his father, Frederick Steel, who was married to Francis UNK. They had at least 8 children, including Edward. Frederick was born in Wurtemburg, Germany somewhere around 1808 - 1813... "Francis, was born in Bavaria, Germany around 1816/17... the area around north Pittsburgh/Sharpsburg where the family lived."
