"74. JAMES COBB (Samuel-3, Jonathan-2, Henry-1), born at Manchester, July 7, 1723. 'Jany. 31, 1748 James COBB + Abigail NASON both of Falmouth married.' (Fal. T. Rec. 1:453). In the intentions of marriage, she is called 'Abigail NASSON.' '1769 Nov. 10 Went to James COBBS's -- found him dead' (Smith's Journal). He lived in Falmouth and Westbrook, Me. In Smith's Journal it is said that he had four daughters as well as the two sons named below. CHILDREN: 159. i. JAMES, 160. ii. JONATHAN. iii ABIGAIL, bapt. 1755. (Fal. Ch. Rec.). iv. REBECCA, bapt. July 6, 1766. (Fal. Ch. Rec.)."
