"The second wife was Sarah HINCKLEY, daughter of Samuel and Sarah HINCKLEY. She had come over with her parents from England in 1634, settling in Scituate, afterwards removing to Barnstable. Her brother, Thomas HINCKLEY, became governor of Plymouth Colony, and was a prominent man."
