"Pneumonia Attack Proves Fatal to Oscar RECKNER. Oscar RECKNER, well known town of Shields farm resident, died today in St. Mary’s hospital following an attack of pneumonia. He entered the hospital on Friday. He was 36. A son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry RECKNER, this city, he was born in the town of Shields February 11, 1900. Since the retirement of his parents from farming upon their removal to Watertown, he had been operating the farm homestead. He was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. RECKNER. In 1921 he married miss Lillian SAUER, the wedding taking place in Immanuel church here of which he was a member. Besides his parents and his wife he is survived by two children Lloyd, 12 and Lorraine, 8. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon from the Nowack funeral home at 1:30 o’clock, with services in the Immanuel church at 2 o’clock. The Rev. K. J. HERBNER will officiate. Interment will be in the Immanuel cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home to pay their respects Wednesday from 3 to 9 p. m. and Thursday up to the time of the service. The casket will not be opened during the church services."
