"Henry [COBB], born 3d Sept. 1665, inherited the paternal mansion. He was married by Justice THACHER, 10th April 1690 to Lois HALLETT. Oct. 9, 1715, he was dismissed from the Barnstable, to the church in Stonington, Conn. His children born in Barnstable were, Gideon, 11th April, 1691; Eunice, 18th Sept. 1693; Lois, 2d March 1696; and Nathan, bap'd June 1, 1700... He afterwards removed from H."

"HENRY COBB (Henry-1), b. Sept. 3, 1665; m. at Barnstable Lois HALLETT, daughter of Joseph HALLETT. Oct. 9, 1705, they were dismissed from the Barnstable church to the church at Stonington, Conn. This dismission was read in the church at Stonington on Nov. 11, 1705. (Otis: Hist. 1st Ch. Stonington). He died Sept. 24, 1725, and was buried near the center of the ancient graveyard at Wiequetequock, two miles northeast of Stonington proper, where the first settlement was made. The headstone was seen and copied in 1874 by Edw. B. COBB, but could not be found in 1885. He ws a farmer (Stanford E. COBB)... The children of Henry and Lois (HALLETT) COBB; i. GIDEON, b. Apr. 11, 1691. ii. EUNICE, b. Sept. 18, 1693; m. Jany. 11, 1716 Benadam GALLUP. iii. LOIS, b. Mar. 2, 1696; joined Stonington Ch. 1719. iv. NATHAN, bapt. June 1, 1701. v. EBENEZER, bapt. May 27, 1705 at Stonington, d. 1726 (Stanford E. COBB). vi. MARY, bapt. July 27, 1707. vii. HENRY, b. Apr. 13, 1710, (S. E. COBB) bapt. May 28, 1710. viii HALLETT, bapt. July 5, 1719; m. Feb. 13, 1748-9. Bridget CHAMPLIN, at Stonington. He was b. May 26, 1719 (S. E. COBB)."
