"THOMPSON-HALL. Mr. Lloyd THOMPSON and Miss Laura E. HALL, says the Panola Watchman, were married Wednesday evening, the 15th inst., at 8 o'clock, at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. E. H. HALL. Rev. W. L. PATE was officiating minister. It was a quiet home wedding, with a short ceremony. The bride's dress was of white china silk, simply made, with yoke and panel of embroidered chiffon. The lovely bride never was more beautiful than she appeared in her pretty wedding gown. Only the immediate relatives of the bride and groom and a few friends were present. Prominent among them was Miss Mamie GASQUE, of San Antonio, formerly of Knoxville, Tenn., a classmate of the bride and her best friend. The groom is the only child of Mr. T.T. THOMPSON, a pioneer merchant of Carthage. He is a young man of business acumen, energetic and active, well trained in business pursuits and is a popular merchant of our city. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. E.H. HALL, lately removed from Knoxville, Tenn. to Carthage, and a niece of John and Robert DEAN and Mrs. SEPAUGH [i.e., her mother's maiden surname is DEAN]. Her brother, Will HALL, is a druggist in Knoxville, Tenn., her native city. She is a graduate of the Knoxville high school and was also a student in the University of Tennessee. She is beautiful, accomplished and cultured."
