"State of Minnesota, County of Steele. The Last Will and Testament of H. Ludwig MEYER deceased. In the name of God amen. I, H. Ludwig MEYER of the town of Aurora in the County of Steele and State of Minnesota of the age of Seventy Three years and being of sound mind and memory -- do hereby make, publish and declare this my last will and Testament in the access following, that is to say: First I give and bequeath to my wife Sophie MEYER all my real Estate lying and being in Steele County Minnesota described as following viz.: - The South half of the South East quarter and the East half of South east quarter of South West quarter of section No. thirteen and the North West quarter of North East quarter of Section No. twenty four of Township No. One Hundred and Six Range Nineteen; together will all the affordances thereto belonging. - I give and bequeath to her father all my personal estate, goods and chattels of what nature or kind sooner; but be it hereby understood that after the death of my wife Sophie MEYER all the above described Real Estate and all such personal estate as there is left shall go into the hands of my son Fredrick Henry MEYER. Second.- As the above named Real and Personal Estate shall only belong to my wife Sofie MEYER during the term of her natural live and such Estate Real and Personal as above described shall after her death be the property of my son Frederick Henry MEYER - at present teacher in Watertown, Wisconsin to whom his heirs and assigns give and devise all said named Real Estate and Personal Property.
