Charles PRIEST, 75, of Chippewa, Dies. CHIPPEWA FALLS -- Charles H. PRIEST, 75. Chippewa Falls, died Wednesday at St. Joseph's Hospital after a short illness. Mr. PRIEST was born at Twin Brooks, S. D. He started to work for the railroad when he was 16. He married Mlss Sarah FLETCHER of Ottawa, Canada on Oct. 19, 1910. She died In 1956. In 1913 he began work for the Soo Line Railroad as section foreman, retiring in November, 1957. They lived in Conrath, and in Owen, coming to Chippewa Falls in 1925 where he had since resided. In May, 1958 he married Mrs. Ruby CURTIS of this city. Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Nick HOEPNER of Lemlngton. Wis., Mrs. Charles LeDUC of Greenwood, and Mrs. Charles PRIEST of Wistary, British Columbia, Canada; two sons; Horace of Fond du Lac and Loren of Rt. 1 Cadott; 28 grandchildren, two great grandchildren; one brother, Loren of Burns Lake, British Columbia, Canada; two sisters, Mrs. Clara ALDRIDGE, and Mrs. Harley MULLEN, both of Grand Rapids. Friends may call at the Hogseth - Pederson Funeral Chapel from Friday afternoon until Saturday noon and then at the First Presbyterian Church. Services will be at 2 p. m. with Rev. Allen S. Van CLEVE officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in Prairie View Cemetery.
