The departed was a native of Germany, born August 14, 1841 and came to this country fifty years ago and to this city eleven years ago and followed his trade as a blacksmith. He is survived by his widow and five children. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 1 o’clock at St. Mark’s Lutheran church and the interment will be in the town of Lebanon.
