During the period of his enlistment this unit participated in the March to the Sea and the siege of Savannah, and the Campaign of the Carolinas until the conclusion of the war. It was involved in significant combat. The unit then participated in the Grand Review in Washington, DC, before moving to Louisville, KY and mustering out on July 18, 1865.
