REQUIRES FURTHER RESEARCH. A record that seems to match Abbie Q. (TOOTHAKER) WHITNEY and her son appear to be found here. The location matches (Phillips, ME), the age matches (33), and the name of her child matches (Edward H.). She is a tailor with personal estate valued at $200. However, there is no sign of Martin V. B. WHITNEY. The only potential match for Martin is found in Auburn, Androscoggin, ME, a 36 year old laborer in a cotton mill.
