Jenie [DUNN] HARRIS is married to John HARRIS, head of household. She is 26 years old and was born in Georgia, with her father born in South Carolina and her mother born in Georgia. She is keeping house. Their 7-month old daughter Mary resides with them. They live next door to John's mother, Emma HARRIS.

(6) For additional research: some sources note that she was born in 1853 in Marietta, Georgia and passed away on 5 February 1885 in Shelby Co., Alabama (daughter of William Henry Peyton Dunn (1828–1864) and Sarah Caroline Tate (1833–1876)). While those seem to fit the general narrative, I have not been able to corroborate those facts with primary sources yet.
