Charles SCHADT, 91, died April 16, 1946, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Henry BLAESE, 207 West Cady Street, after a week's illness. He was born in Watertown on Feb. 19, 1855, and was a lifelong resident of this city. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John SCHADT. On April 27, 1882, he married Ida RECKNER in St. Luke's Lutheran church. She preceded him in death in 1929. He was survived by one daughter, Mrs. Henry BLAESE, this city; and one son, Arthur SCHADT of the town of Milford. There were five grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Mr. SCHADT was the last member of his immediate family. The funeral was held from the Hafemeister Funeral Home with the Rev. I. G. UETZRNANN officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill cemetery.
