Wilhelmine PALMFRAN is listed as the mother of Bertha FUNK when she married Otto WANDSCHNEIDER in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on August 12, 1891. Bertha was listed as born in Linden, Westprussia, Germany so presumably her parents had a connection to that location as well.

Census records for Bertha [FUNK] WANDSCHNEIDER all state that she as well as her parents were born in Germany. Records further state consistently that Bertha immigrated to the United States in 1887 (i.e., Census of 1900, 1910 and 1920) when she would have been about 18 years old. Therefore it is unknown whether her parents immigrated with her or remained in Germany as she would have already been an adult when she departed.
