"Nicholas MIAS married in Little Compton 3 March 1708 Elizabeth NICHOLAS, possibly the daughter of Richard and Phebe NICHOLAS, born 14 June 1688 (?). Residence: Little Compton.

His will recorded in Taunton book 5, page 58, made 4 Sept. 1727 and proved 16 Jan. 1727/28: "To wife Elizabeth use of all real estate while she remains my widow. To son Gitto all housing and lands after the decease of my wife; if he dies then to my two daughters Phebe and Alice. To son Oliver 25 pounds and all silver buttons, two silver spoons and all silver money. To daughter Phebe one feather bed. To daughter Alice one feather bed. Rest and residue to two sons Gitto and Oliver at decease of wife. Inventory of his estate, taken 2 Jan 1727: total 199 pounds - 16 shillings - no pence.
