"John FORD bought 25 acres of Hugh CROCKETT in Kittery in 1703. He had wife Joanna in 1708. Was she dau. of John ANDREWS? He lived in Braveboat Harbor. The following were probably his children: Lettice m. John WHITNEY, who moved to Brunswick, Me. Sarah m. Nathaniel WHITNEY, who lived in York. Catharine perhaps m. James ADAMS of Wells and was carried captive to Canada, 22 Aug. 1703. Samuel m. Agnes, dau of Edmund GAGE, or GACH, d. s. p. about 1755. John m. Hannah TIDY 4 Nov. 1706 and had son John b. 9 June 1708."
