Thomas FEALEY is head of household, married to Ellen [CASEY] FEALEY. He is 35 years old, born in Ireland and is a laborer with $100 of personal estate. Children in the household are Dennis, Timothy, Hannah [no other record found --how is she related?], Thomas, Patrick, Ellen, Mary, Johanna and Kate.

The source has extensive notes on Thomas FEALY. A brief synopsis:

- Thomas and Ellen emigrated from Ireland and ... "arrived at Castle Garden, New York,...went immediately to Baltimore (and) after a year...decided to go to Washington..."
- Two years later they sent for their children.
- Lived "in a cottage on the grounds of what is now the National Soldiers' Home. (Now the U.S. Soldiers' and Airmen's Home.)"
- Later moved near the Capitol building.
- "(Thomas) was killed instantly, just one week before Christmas (December 18, 1865), by a terrific explosion at the Arsenal."
- In 1862-1864 lived as a laborer on 4th st., NE likely between A. and B. Streets; Capitol Hill.
- The family may have also run a Grocery in 1865 and subsequently.
