"Floyd LOVELACE Dies in Portland. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Tuesday from the Roseburg funeral home for Floyd N. LOVELACE, a resident of Bend for over 10 years, who died in Portland, Friday, Nov. 29, following an operation. He had been ill only a short time. Mr. LOVELACE, who was 63 years old, was employed by the Brooks-Scanlon Lumber Company. He came here with his family in 1935, from Roseburg. He is survived by his wife, Xina, three sons, one daughter, three sisters and a brother. Mrs. LOVELACE and two children Robert and Lileth, live at the family home near Bend, on route 1. The other sons are John, of Portland, and James, of Seattle. Sisters are Lula YOUNG, of Portland, Mrs. Florence WATERS, of Kelowna, B. C., and Mrs. V. R. ILER, of Bend. His brother is Ross C. LOVELACE, of Roseburg. Burial will be in Roseburg."
