"On Wednesday evening at 8:30 o'clock, the marriage of Lilian G. SYLVESTER to Fred W. WEEKS was solemnized in the presence of about fifty guests at the home of the groom's sister, Mrs. Ern C. PRATT, 209 Fifth street SE. The bridal party entered the parlor to the strains of Lohengrin's wedding march, and stood beneath a canopy of green and white. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. John A. STEMEN of Como Avenue Congregational church, with Miss Carrie HAZELTINE acting as bridesmaid and Will F. THOMPSON as best man. The house was beautifully decorated with cut flowers and potted palms. The prevailing colors in the refreshment-room were pink and green. The young couple were recipients of many beautiful gifts. Mr. and Mrs. WEEKS will be at home after Oct. 1 at 1215 Adams st. NE."
