"Ebenezer HOWES... married (2) 20 Nov. 1706, Lydia JOYCE, born about 1684, died 4 Nov. 1755, in her 71st year. gr. st. Howes Burying Ground at Dennis, Mass.: The will of Ebenezer HOWES, dated 3 Dec. 1726, and proved 13 Feb. 1726/7, mentions his wife Lydia, and his children Lydia, Thankful, Mercy, Anna, Susannah, Mary, Samuel and Prince, Thomas, eldest son, Ebenezer, Sarah SEARS and Elizabeth HOWES. His inventory taken 22 Feb. 1726/7 amounted to £532-15-10 in personal property and £1920 in real estate. In 1712 he received 47½ shares of the common lands of Yarmouth."
