"Some years after grandfather's death, I found among his old letters, a list of names made in a booklet from which without doubt gave the families of the children of Samuel McGAUGHEY. The date of the list, I am sorry to say, was not given. This record showed that Maj. Samuel McGAUGHEY had ten children, four boys and six girls... The names of the girls were not given, but the names of their husbands were, and are as follows: ... William HENRY... The grandchildren were also given, the number in each family, and their names in full... William HENRY, eleven [children]..."

This source, unfortunately, does not provide the names of the grandchildren, just the number.
