"LINDEN -- Joseph OSBORNE, whose condition we reported to be very critical last week, died last Tuesday afternoon. He was born near Hazel Green in 1855. While he was very young his parents moved to New Providence where he resided until 1879. He spent two years studying law at the state university. The following year he settled at Britt, Iowa, where he practiced his profession, and in 1882 was married to Miss Lucy STEVENS of Avoca. He then moved from Britt to Lanark, Ill., thence back to Iowa and from there to Nebraska, where he received the injury which resulted in a cancer terminating in his death.
