He married, in Watertown, Massachusetts, October 30, 1656, Lydia, daughter of Lewis and Ann JONES of Watertown… Jonathan WHITNEY became a resident of Sherborn in 1679. His will, dated January 12, 1702, was doubtless written long before his death. His children, born in Watertown, were: I– Lydia, b. July 3, 1657; m. 1681, Moses ADAMS. II– Jonathan, b. Oct. 20, 1658... III– Anna, b. Apr. 28, 1660; m. Cornelius FISHER. IV– John, b. June 27, 1662; m. (first) Mary HAPGOOD, and (second) Sarah —-, who died Apr. 23, 1718, and he m.
