"MRS. BELLE HARRIS; Widow of Glen Farmer Dies After Long Illness. Mrs. Belle HARRIS, who lived with her daughter, Mrs. Sula KILCREASE of 2996 Tudor, died at 9:30 a.m. yesterday at her home after a five-year illness. She was 76. She was a widow of Charlie HARRIS, farmer of Glen, Miss., who died in 1943. Born in Hackleburg, Ala., she lived for many years in Prentiss County, Miss. She had lived in Memphis about five years and was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church. She leaves five other daughters, Mrs. Willard WHITFIELD of Detroit, Mrs. Velma NEWCOMB of Clinton, Iowa, Mrs. Frances MALCOLM of Bell Rive, Ill., Mrs. L. D. ROSS of Mobile, Ala., and Mrs. Edsel BRADY of Sacramento, Calif.; three sons, Guston HARRIS, Marvin HARRIS and Charlie HARRIS, all of Corinth, Miss.; three brothers, Hughie COLE of Booneville, Miss., and Thomas COLE and Roscoe COLE, both of Widener, Ark.; 35 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. J. W. Norris Funeral Home has sent the body to McPeters Funeral Home of Corinth for services at 2 p.m. tomorrow at New Hope Church in Glen, Miss., and burial."
