"[COBB] PATIENCE, b. Barnstable 19 March 1641/2 [sic.]; bp. Barnstable 13 March 1641/2 [NEHGR 9:282]; m. (1) Barnstable 'beginning August 1667' Robert PARKER [MD 11:100], as his second wife; she m. (2) after 1 June 1685 William CROCKER and d. Barnstable 23 October 1727 [NEHGR 112:190-197]."

"Robert PARKER married secondly Patience-2 COBB, daughter of Henry-1 and Patience (HURST) COBB of Barnstable, at 'the beginning of August' 1667."
"Patience, the wife of Robert PARKER, was admitted to the Barnstable Church 23 June 1671. Her father, Henry-1 COBB, and Elder of that Church, made his Will 4 April 1678, in which he names his 'daughter, Patience PARKER'.
"The records show that Patience (COBB) PARKER survived her first husband more than forty years. Baptised in Barnstable 13 March 1641/2, she was among the heirs under the will, dated 1656, of her grandfather James HURST, and she was named, also, in the will of her father, Henry COBB, in 1678. She married, secondly, Dea. William CROCKER, a widower and father of six sons and a daughter. In his Will, dated 9 Sept. and proved 22 Oct. 1692, Deacon CROCKER bequeathed to 'Patience, my loving wife, besides the liberty to dispose of all ye Estate which she brought with her or had at ye time of our intermarriage, and besides ye £ 40 I then promised to give her in case she should survive me, I give unto her my best bedd and bedstead with all ye furniture thereto belonging'."
"Patience (COBB) (PARKER) CROCKER apparently had with her in her household her unmarried daughter, Alice PARKER, until the latter's death on 20 Aug. 1727. Slightly more than two months later, the mother's own death occurred -- 23 Oct. 1727. She lies buried in the old 'Lothrop's Hill Cemetery' in Barnstable... She outlived all of the children of her first husband's first marriage, all of her second husband's children (by his first wife) and four of her own eight children."
