"One Injured in Collision. One person was critically injured in a 2-car collision at the intersection of U. S. 69 and State 121 at Trenton Monday morning. Highway patrolman Bob RIDLEY identified Mrs. Nell HULL of Wolfe City as the most seriously injured. She was in a Greenville hospital with undetermined injuries. Patrolman RIDLEY said that Joseph WASHBURN of Whitewright, driver of the other car involved, was given first aid treatment in a Greenville hospital and released. The patrolman said WASHBURN was driving south on U. S. 69 and Mrs. HULL was on State 121. Both cars were totaled."

"Mrs. HULL Dies From Auto Mishap Injuries. Mrs. Nell HULL, 64, a former resident of Comanche, died at 8:30 a.m. Saturday as a result of injuries sustained several days previously in an automobile mishap. Services were at 3 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church of Wolfe City. Rev. Robert RENFRO officiated. Burial was at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Mrs. Hull was born Oct. 15, 1907 in Mullin to Lazrus J. and Hattie Shelton VAN. She married Ralph W. HULL Nov. 26, 1926 in Mullin. She was a member of the Wolfe City First Baptist Church and the Garden Clubs of Texas. She served as a state judge for the garden clubs. While living in Comanche she was active in the Comanche Garden Club and community affairs. She is survived by her husband; her mother, Mrs. Hattie VAN, Goldthwaite; sister-in-law, Mrs. Clara M. GRIFFIN, Carthage, three sisters, Mrs. Totsy CASEY, Dallas, Mrs. Jewell BASKIN, Mullin, and Mrs. Frankie GOLIGHTLY of Hamilton. Attending the services from Comanche were Mr. and Mrs. Euell ARTHUR, Florence TUPIN, Kathleen MARSHALL, Selma BERRY and Clara SLACK."
