"BARNABAS [LOTHROP], born Oct. 22, 1686, married, Feb. 20, 1706, Bethia FULLER, who died Oct. 26, 1714, aged about 28 years. He married (2), Dec. 25, 1718, Hannah CHIPMAN. In his will, dated Apr. 3, 1756, and proved May 4, 1756, he names as his legatees: his wife Hannah, and his three sons, John, Johnathan, and Barnabas. His wife Hannah was made his executrix. Her will was dated May 26, 1763, and proved July 1, 1763, and names as legatees, her daughter-in-law Thankful LOTHROP, her three granddaughters Hannah, Mary, and Rebecca LOTHROP; and her two sons, Jonathan and Barnabas. Her sole executor, her son Barnabas."
