Margaret [sic] M. Howder is the wife of Charles ["Ray"] Barrick, head of household. The children listed in the household are: Mary, Charles, Jane and Joseph. Marguerite's brother [Elzear] John is also included. Next door is the family of Genevieve (Howder) Satterfield -- which also includes George Howder -- who are Genevieve's brother and sister. Thus, four adult Howder siblings are listed as living at two adjacent addresses. There are some rather unusual recordings of the larger Howder family in general in the 1930 Census, whether due to miscommunications or intentional deception.
