The results are considerably more humble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Worcestershire<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/embed?pb=!1m14!1m8!1m3!1d314240.9533561132!2d-2.238587!3d52.024962!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!3m3!1m2!1s0x4870fde562ee850f%3A0x42fdcf5bb51d65bc!2sLongdon%2C%20Tewkesbury%2C%20UK!5e0!3m2!1sen!2sus!4v1630146579690!5m2!1sen!2sus\" style=\"border:0;\" allowfullscreen=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even more amazingly, there are at least three Longdons in England. This one is a village in the Malvern Hills District in the county of Worcestershire. It&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/aJgHoYVqAkzNRw8N7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">about 125 miles from London<\/a> and it should take about two and a half hours to get there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Staffordshire<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/embed?pb=!1m14!1m8!1m3!1d77321.42283506496!2d-1.883632!3d52.72687861692794!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!3m3!1m2!1s0x487a099077807679%3A0x3f1c0cf7574cdf4d!2sLongdon%2C%20Rugeley%2C%20UK!5e0!3m2!1sen!2sus!4v1630156409994!5m2!1sen!2sus\" style=\"border:0;\" allowfullscreen=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The next Longdon has a population of about 1,500 inhabitants, in the District of Lichfield, of Staffordshire. Another similarly-named town is located just to the northwest, Upper Longdon. Once again, <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/aGjdKrtLEon3Rgkk8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">about 125 miles<\/a> and two and a half hours of driving will deliver a visitor to London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">West Midlands<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I think the final Longdon, more properly called Longdon-on-Tern is my favorite Longdon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/78586478@N06\/46261252384\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/7846\/46261252384_c140d0b040_b.jpg\" alt=\"Longton on Term #3. Photo by C19th Heroes; (CC BY-NC-ND 2.0)\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is located the remnants of a navigable aqueduct constructed from cast iron (<a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/ovC2djzacXhbwJuU9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">map<\/a>). It&#8217;s reputed to be the first of its kind ever built anywhere on any large scale. This formed a portion of the Shrewsbury Canal built in 1796 although today it&#8217;s a historical sight that only links agricultural fields. I&#8217;d love to visit it. This Longdon resides in Telford and Wrekin in the West Midlands. It&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/HYhf4wkq5MusokV48\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">about 150 miles<\/a> and three hours of driving away from London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Not Visit Them All!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>What would it take to visit all three Longdons in a single journey?
