Especially, I like corners where three or more join together at a point. On my website I&#8217;ve compiled trip reports about a few of those locations. Most well known, it includes the renowned <a href=\"\/blog\/?p=1406\">4-Corners<\/a>\u00a0of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah. Additionally I discuss the original <a href=\"\/blog\/?p=22708\">West Cornerstone<\/a> for the District of Columbia. That one now marks the common border point\u00a0for Arlington County, Fairfax County, and the independent City of Falls Church in Virginia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/96225726@N08\/35385633933\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/4308\/35385633933_cd579ac2bf_b.jpg\" alt=\"Four Corners, USA. Photo by howderfamily.com; (CC BY-NC-SA 2.0)\"\/><\/a><figcaption>Standing on 4 Corners: Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Thus, I really enjoyed stumbling across a website called &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bjbsoftware.com\/corners\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Corner Corner<\/a>.&#8221; The site itself provides the best description. Its mission statement says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;<em>The Corner Corner documents, but cannot truly explain, the hobby of visiting locations like:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><em>Places where three or more states or provinces meet at a point.<\/em><\/li><li><em>The northernmost, easternmost, southernmost, and westernmost points in states and provinces.<\/em><\/li><li><em>Other prominent boundary junctions and corners.<\/em>&#8220;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The site provides bare-boned essentials with an &#8220;old school&#8221; feel. It can be navigated easily and would be a great resource for anyone planning to visit a Corner or directional extremity. Many of the secondary pages contain links to pdf documents. These describe in detail the path to approach and reach each point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I agree completely with the &#8220;cannot truly explain&#8221; comment. I&#8217;ve tried to do that with family members that I&#8217;ve dragged along on some of my Odd Geography adventures.
