Gently rolling plains surrounded the mountains which appeared to poke up randomly from the terrain. It&#8217;s not really a mountain range, but several volcanic plugs with the surrounding land eroded away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our friend drove up to the Glass House Mountains Lookout (<a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/bTbShd6Cu2KSHwMW8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">map<\/a>), which gave a great view of the plugs and the surrounding area all the way to the sea. We could see lots of farms and eucalyptus trees, and many of the plugs.
