From there, visitors can overlook Georgia&#8217;s Atlantic coast and the mouth of the Savannah River. The beautifully restored facilities mirror their original condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/96225726@N08\/8915618900\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/7392\/8915618900_c1679dfb87_o.jpg\" alt=\"Tybee Island Lighthouse view\"\/><\/a><figcaption>The View from the Top of the Lighthouse<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Admission requires a modest fee.&nbsp; This allows visitors to climb all 178 corkscrew steps to the top of the lighthouse. We got a great view from the balcony with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cityoftybee.org\/\">Tybee<\/a> and the Atlantic Ocean in the background. The Fresnel lens and bulb rest on the level higher.&nbsp; However, the public during could not access it during our visit.
