I have visited Williamsburg AleWerks,
in Williamsburg, York County, Virginia, USA.

Brewery/Brewpub Location Map

Reason for Visit: I wish I'd been in town to visit Colonial Williamsburg, but alas, I was in town on business. Fortunately I had a little extra time to stop by Williamsburg AleWerks. Technically the Williamsburg AleWerks is not in the city of Williamsburg, rather it's just over the border in neighboring York County. The brewery is located in the shed-like structure on the left and the brewery store in the building to the right.

Williamsburg AleWerks Brewery Shop Entrance: Williamsburg AleWerks is located in a small industrial park. This is a detail from one of the windows on the exterior of the brewery store which is much less utilitarian in appearance. The brewery logo appears in an attractive manner on smoked glass. The 189-B refers to the brewery's street address. Notice the vegetation on the right. It's not ivy or weeds gone out of control. These are hops! They are growing along a trellis placed up the side of the wall.
Williamsburg AleWerks Coaster - Front Front of Coaster: The front of the Williamsburg AleWerks coaster features their logo on a white background with a red border band. The logo itself displays a centrally-placed copper brew kettle, with stalks of barley and hops cones arcing upward and outward. The entire image is included within a blue oval framing the name of the brewery.
Williamsburg AleWerks Coaster - Front Back of Coaster: The reverse side of the same coaster includes the slogan, "Ale, Proper Drink for Americans" 1788. It also includes the brewery's address and website. The red lettering of the text is enclosed within a yellow border band.
