Reason for Visit: We were taking a trip through the Upper Midwest portion of the United States. We stopped at this brewpub while we were driving towards the Mall of America in Minnesota.

Front of Coaster. This Northwoods Brewpub Grill coaster features a circular configuration with a three-color printed design on a white background. The central focus is the name of the brewery. Offset to the left is a stylized pine forest, apparently the eponymous north woods. Barley stalks underline the brewpub name to add further emphasis. It also contains the slogan "we be brewin'." |

Glassware: The Northwoods Brewpub Grill has a variety of merchandise but I picked up this small ceramic sampler mug (mainly because I'm running out of shelf space). This is for their Red Cedar Red Ale. Most of the attention is placed on the fact that this is a RED ale. It's the central focus of the image, and in addition the top arc proclaims this same statement repeatedly in very small font to form a border band just above the shadow outline of a red cedar forest. The name of the brewery appears in a horizontal framing border along the bottom. |
