Reason for Visit: We were in town for a wedding. The reception ended a little earlier than we expected so what's a better way to end a fine evening than stopping by a brewpub?

Coaster: The Moon River Brewing Company has one of the more interesting coasters designs I've collected, even though it's not terribly complicated. It takes on the shape of the crescent moon, with the lighted portion noting its location, Savannah, Georgia. The name of the brewery appears in the darkened section with both letter O's in Moon also rendered as crescent moons. On a totally different tangent, the building occupied by Moon River is reputed to be haunted. I saw it featured on one of those ghost hunter television shows awhile ago. We saw nothing ghostly on our visit though. The place was packed with Saturday evening revelers so maybe that scared them away. |
