in Ft. Lauderdale, Broward County, Florida, USA.

Brewery/Brewpub Location Map

Reason for Visit: This Philadelphia brew pub once had a location in Ft. Lauderdale, FL which has since closed. We stopped by when we were in South Florida visiting some friends.

Independence Restaurant & Brewery Coaster Front of Coaster. This Independence Restaurant & Brewery coaster is printed in multiple colors in a square configuration. The central image is a rendition of Independence Hall in Philadelphia, the home location of the brewpub. The name of the brewery rings the central image. At the bottom appears the slogan, "Enjoy your Independence." The coaster background is blue with faint script from the Declaration of Independence.
Independence Restaurant & Brewery Coaster Front of Coaster. "Five minutes 'til last call and you still think you're not going home alone. Independence. Enjoy it while it lasts."
Independence Restaurant & Brewery - Back Back of Coaster. "Independence Ale. Go right ahead, revel in the full-bodied, hoppy flavor and dry, nutty finish. Don't say no one ever gave you anything special.

Independence Gold. Judge the rewardingly clean, crisp finish for yourself. It's already been awarded the Bronze Medal at both the 1996 Great American Beer Festival and the 1996 World Beer Cup in the Golden Ale / Canadian Style Ale category.

Independence Franklinfest. Loosen up, the smooth, creamy, rich flavor is finished off with a nice malt sweetness that's worth its weight in gold, literally. Awarded the Gold Medal at the 1996 Great American Beer Festival in the Marzen / Oktoberfest category.

These are available year round. Ask your bartender what tasty seasonal is on tap."
