Reason for Visit: We were taking a trip around Northern Lake Michigan. We stopped at Hereford & Hops on our journey between Michigan's Fayetee Historic Site and Wisconsin's Door County. This brewpub is located on Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The interesting thing about this restaurant is that they have open grills where you can cook your own meat if you like. The brewery has also won medals at the Great American Beer Festival and a number of World Beer Cup competitions.

Glassware: The Hereford & Hops pint glass features, well... the head of a Hereford and a vine of hops. Truth in advertising, to be sure. The design is printed in three colors on clear glass. The central features is the name of the brewery in large font. The hereford's head appears above that, and the city location appears below. A hop vine forms a background image that cascades from the top of the design to the bottom. A green line forms a design border. |
