Reason for Visit: I had business in New York City and traveled there frequently. This gave me lots of opportunities to visit brewpubs while I was there.

Front of Coaster. This Heartland Brewery Coaster is a one-color circular configuration coaster featuring their very traditional-appearing logo. The central image is a bundle of barley ringed by stars of various sizes, and noting that the brewpub is located in NYC and was established in 1995. The outer ring contains the name of the brewery in large font encircled by a border band. |

Back of Coaster. Their coaster for Smiling Pumpkin Ale ale is a bit less traditional, and in fact is rather entertaining. Here the central image is the photograph of a happy long-haired guy holding up a pumpkin. He appears to have fangs to connect him better with the Halloween season. The name of the beer and brewery form a ring around the image. |
