I have visited FOUNDERS HILL BREWING COMPANY,
in Downers Grove, DuPage County, Illinois, USA.

Status: apparently closed

Reason for Visit: I used to travel to Chicago fairly regularly on business and would try to visit breweries and brewpubs while I was in the area. Downer's Grove is a suburb of Chicago, easily accessible from a number of interstate highways that seem to converge there: I-294; I-88; I-355 and I-55. At the time I was staying in the Chicago suburb of Oak Brook, so a trip to Downers Grove was actually pretty convenient.

[Founders Hill Brewing Company Pint Glass] Glassware: The Founders Hill pint glass logo features a rather follicley challenged gentleman standing in a field, no doubt pondering a recipe for that next great batch of beer. He looks pretty serious -- almost grim -- with those arms crossed in front of him. Maybe an ale would loosen him up.
