I have visited Fitger's Brewhouse,
in Duluth, St. Louis County, Minnesota, USA.

Brewery/Brewpub Location Map

Reason for Visit: We visited the Fitger's Brewhouse while taking a side trip to Duluth, Minnesota for an afternoon, during a trip that focused on northern Wisconsin.

Fitger's Brewhouse Coaster - Front Front of Coaster: This coaster for the Fitger's Brewhouse Brewery and Grill is a mainly grayscale design with a red background in a circular configuration. The top third of the coaster contains the brewpub logo which includes its name displayed atop a red star flanked by barley stalks. The central image is a man carrying a barrel of beer in a design that is nearly identical to a coaster produced by the Harmon Brewery of Tacoma, WA. I am assuming this must be clip art rather than identical coincidental designs.
Fitger's Brewhouse Coaster - Back Back of Coaster: The back contains an off-center black oval with the slogan, "Everybody here likes Fitger's Brewhouse Beer." Above this hovers three full pilsner glasses, the middle one marked with a red star. The address and contact information arcs along the bottom border.
Fitger's Brewhouse - Interior Interior: This is the bar inside of Fitger's Brewhouse. We were there for a mid-week lunch and it had quite a good crowd at this cozy corner. The latest beer selections appear on the chalkboards above the taps. The Brewhouse is just one of several restaurants and shops in the Fitger hotel complex, a building that that once housed a large commercial brewery. Thus it's quite appropriate for a brewpub to be located inside here.
Fitger's Brewhouse - Equiment Equipment: The Fitger's brewing equipment is located a little further down the hallway. Notice how the brew kettle has been wrapped with wood panneling to make it look like an old wooden keg. That was an interesting design detail evoking an earlier time. Notice, also, the leg of one of the brewery workers in the background. I happened to walk by when the door was open and snapped the photo. The wonderful aroma of boiling barley filled the hallway.
